Case Information
Displays open cases from which the user may select. After the user selects a case, detailed information about the selected case is displayed.
Payment Information
A list of the most recent payments that were received for the case. The list has the date that the payment was received, the date that the payment was disbursed, and the amount of the payment. NOTE: Payments are not always received and disbursed on the same date. Non-custodial parents may select a particular payment to see more details about the distribution of the payment. The “Extended Payments” button may be selected to access a larger number of payments in the case.
Obligation Information
Lists the active obligations in the case. The obligations are grouped by “current obligations,” “arrears obligations,” and “other obligations.”
Paternity
Lists the dependents in the case with the corresponding paternity status.
Hearings & Appointments
Lists any upcoming hearings, motions, and appointments for participants in the case.
Recent Case Activity
Lists any significant activities in the case.
Monthly Collections
Lists information on collections for previous calendar months.

Where can I get legal help?
The Office of the Attorney General, Child Support Services Division, Legal Services Section (LSS) provides legal services to the District’s child support program. LSS represents the government in all aspects of paternity and child support establishment and enforcement. No confidential attorney/client relationship exists between the Office of the Attorney General and the custodial parent. If the child has received, or is receiving public benefits, funds collected in the child support case will be retained by the government to reimburse the district for public funds expended on behalf of the child.

If you are victim of domestic violence, you may call My Sister’s Place Hotline for information at (202) 529-5991. If you need assistance in obtaining a civil protection order against a person, please call the DC Superior Court, Domestic Violence Intake Center at (202) 879-0152.
Where do I go to get Certified Copies of my Pay?
To obtain certified copies of your support order you can come to the file room counter in room 4335 In the DC Superior Court. There is a fee for certified copies. The DC Superior Court is located at 500 Indiana Avenue NW, 4th Floor, Room 4335, Washington, DC 20001.
How do I seal, reseal, or unseal a child support case?
Child support cases may be sealed to restrict access and review by non-management CSSD personnel. A case may be sealed if a custodial party or non-custodial parent has a valid civil protection order that involves domestic violence. A case may also be sealed if one of the parties is a public official. Any individual who wants a CSSD child support case placed under seal must complete a CSSD request form or submit a written notarized letter to the IV-D Director, designee or a unit manager. A IV-D child support case shall be sealed whenever a court order is received directing such action. A public official is defined as an individual who is categorized as an elected or appointed official in the executive, judicial, or legislative branch of the Federal or District of Columbia government or public official of any character.
I need information on Fresh Start
Fresh Start is a program that is available to select non-custodial parents that forgives part of his or her arrears obligations in exchange for successfully making timely payments on current obligations, or for making a lump sum payment toward arrears obligations. There are numerous eligibility requirements that must be met in order to participate in the program. Selected non-custodial parents will receive an invitation letter when they are identified to participate. Non-custodial parents must respond to this letter in order to take part in the program.

I want to report fraud
If you have information regarding possible fraud where a TANF recipient may be receiving government benefits and child support payments, you may call the 24-hour hotline for fraud at (202) 673-4464 in the DC Department of Human Services, Office of Program Review, Monitoring and Investigation. Anonymous calls are accepted. Callers who give their names can request confidentiality at (202) 673-6946. If you have information pertaining to a DC government employee committing a fraudulent and/or criminal act, you may call the DC Office of the Inspector General at (202) 727-2540.
